gcjwebplugin:
a plugin for the execution of Java™ applets in web browsers
WARNING:
The current version does not provide a security manager capable of handling Java (tm) applets. Applets have UNRESTRICTED access to your computer. This means they can do anything you can do, like deleting all your important data.
Version 0.3.1 released

Version 0.3.1 of gcjwebplugin is released. This release now startes the appletviewer process when it is actually needed. This means when it has to show an applet inside the web browser. Some other minor fixes are done too.

Version 0.3.0 (Codename "Rebirth") released

Version 0.3.0 of gcjwebplugin is released. This is the first version with the much lowered build and runtime dependencies. It now supports to use several Java (tm) compilers and runtime environments.

GNU classpath 0.10 (Codename "Independence") released

Version 0.10 of GNU classpath is released. This is the first release which out of the box supports using gcjappletviewer inside a web browser. With the the standalone appletviewer GNU classpath 0.09 is enough. JVMs using GNU classpath can be found on this page.
