  • A good text book on Neural Nets is:

    Neural Computing
    Beale and Jackson
    IOP Publishing Ltd.

    However, do be aware that the early printings contain a lot of typographical errors which can confuse and confound the beginnner. Try to find a printing post 1997.
  • A somewhat deeper text is:

    An Introduction to Neural Computing

    Igor Aleksander and Helen Morton
