Depending on the level of control desired by the document creator, different models of collaboration on the actual content of a document can occur:
Editorial Dictatorship - Editors and only editors may edit the document. This level of control does not lend itself to WikiTexi's model, but is included so that core documentation can be tightly controlled.
Moderated Edits - Any number of writers may submit edits to the document; however, these edits will not be applied to the document until approved by an appropriate editor. This model saves knowledgeeg;able people the trouble of writing while still allowing them to review their areas of expertise.
Complete Collaboration - All users are editors, and we trust them to improve the document. Edit history is still kept, so self-declared police can keep the collaborators in check. This allows all knowledgeeg;able people to contribute to documentation based upon their strengths.
