(October 8, 2003): The code on which i have worked in this days is online. Now I'm trying to writer a good page layout.
(October 5, 2003): I have just started to upload some source code on the cvs. Take a look and tell me what you think.
(September 26, 2003): In this moment I'm trying to write a good project but I'm really short on good ideas regarding what features implements and i have some doubt on some solution. If someone want to give a hand please send me an email. The project file can be found here (sorry only in Italian).
(September 23, 2003): Added to the cvs all the files of smarty (2.6.0 rc1) and of adodb (3.92) witch will be used in the project.
With phpMyCdArchive you can easily manage an archive of CDs and other removable media like dvd, zip drive, floppy drive and even hard disk and every thing is done with your favorite web browser. All the program is writed in php and try to be independent from the operating system. All the code generated by the program are XHTML 1.0 compilant and the cascading style sheet are CSS 2.0 compilant. All the connection to the database are done with adodb so the program can be used easily with most of the dbms. The look of the page are defined in templates file that are handled by smarty a powerful template engine for php.
There is no official release at the moment but is possible to consult the cvs of the project at this address.
