Mountain Mages

The Mountain Mages were once Humans until they emigrated to the Mountains. They are very close to the nature but in some parts you can still detect their human origin.

Units
Ghost
Description: Mysterious subcult under the mountain mages, the ghosts are always cloaked and nobody has ever seen there face, rumour is there that they don't have a body and are pure energie.

Transformer
Description: This unit can transform into other units. This unit is built in the Center of Belief/Faith/Existance. It's the only unit trained in a building. All other units are trained by this transformer.
Transforms into 2 dwarves or 2 mana mages or into one shaman.
When the spell "Yeti Transforming" is researched in the glacier hall, it can transform into a yeti. As yeti it can also transform back into a transformer, but as yeti it can't direct transform into any other unit.

Dwarf
Description: Usual worker unit. Can gather gold and wood, repair mechanical buildings and units and build buildings.
Requires:1/2 Mana Keep

Abilities: can gather gold/wood
can repair mechanical units and buildings
can build all buildings

Mana Mage
Description: The mana mage is the Mage's basic attack unit like the footman for the humans or the grunt for the orcs. It attacks the enemies with a mana blade can spell healing and it can be put in mana field to produce the Mage's third resource, mana.
When be put in a mana field, all personal mana perhaps used for the spell mana will be automatically reloaded.

Abilities: can be out in mana fields to produce the resource "mana"
When in mana field, all personal mana is reloaded.
Spells:Healing (can heal other units for mana)

Shaman
Description: Mage with aggressive spells. His usual mana-less attack is Fireball. When researched in the Shaman Den, he can cast a ball lightning and an infestation.

Spells: Ball Lightning (A concentrated lighting fired streight into a direction. Hits one unit, if 'passthrough' is explored, it will hit multilpe units in a row - Must be researched in the Shaman Den before)

Yeti
Description: A transformer can turn into a yeti as long as he will. As yeti he is a very strong infighter, but cannot transform into someone except back into a usual transformer. The yeti attacks with his big ice claws, and when the ability freeze is researched in the Glacer Hall, he narcotizises his enemy with his attack.

Freeze (When researched in the Glacer Hall, the yeti's attack sometimes narcotizises the enemy for some seconds - Must be researched in the Glacier Hall before)

Basic Building of the Mountain Mages. Can train "Transfomers" and cast "Mana Shock" to kill enemies near the building.

Mana Field

Provides you with 5 Mana Keep. Mana Keep is needed to keep up your units.
This building is also need to produce the resource "Mana". Put up to 4 mana mages in it to pruduce mana. Every mana mage more in the building reduces the provide of Mana Keep by one. Therefor the more mana mages are inside your mana field, the more mana is produced.
When in the mana field, the personal mana of teh mana mage is reloaded.
Also the personal mana of other units can be restored, but this costs you the resource mana.

Glacier Hall

This building can research the "Yeti Transforming" ability for the Transformer, and the "Freeze" ability for the yeti.

Resources

Gold

Gold is gathered by a dwarf, who goes to a gold mine and brings the gold gathered to the Center of Belief/Faith/Existance. Gold can be used:
  1. by dwarfves to build buildings in combination with wood
  2. by dwarves to repair buildings or mechanical units in combinations with the resources which were needed to create the object
  3. by the Center of Belief/Faith/Existance to train Transformers
  4. by the transformer to transform into another unit in combination with (global) mana
Gold is the most important resource in the game for Mountain Mages.

Wood

Wood is also gathered by a dwarf, who chops woods and brings the wood to the Center of Belief/Faith/Existance. Wood can be used:
  1. by dwarves to build buildings in combination with gold
  2. by dwarves to repair buildings or mechanical units in combinations with the resources which were needed to create the object

Mana (global)

Mana is a resource which can only be gathered by Mountain Mages - but either is only needed by Mountain Mages. Mana is gathered by Mana Mages placed in Mana Fields. The more Mana Mages are in a Mana Field, the more Mana the Mana Field produces. Mana doesn't have to be transported to anywhere. Mana is used:
  1. by the transformer to transform into another unit in combination with gold

Mana Keep

Each unit needs a current amount of Mana Keep. Mana Keep is a permanent resource, which doesn't need to be produced all the time. When a dwarf builds a Mana Field, you have 8 Mana Keep more. So when you have 2 Mana Fields, you have 16 Mana Keep. But when a Mana Mage is inside a Mana Field, he reduces the amount of Mana Keep provided by this Mana Field. So a Mana Field with 2 Mana Mages inside only provides 6 Mana Keep - instead of the usual 8. Mana Keep is used by the transformer. When he wants to transform into a unit, he needs a current amount of Mana Keep. Also producing a transformer takes 1 Mana Keep.
